*BEWARE* Looks can be deceiving; faulty by design.

We selected this fridge with our KitchenAid ensemble for the kitchen, because of how it looks, and under the assumption that the price point will give us a life-long fridge; two years later, I'm ready to tear my hairs out dealing with this fridge.
The first warranty call (2017) was because the fridge stopped cooling, only a few months after purchase. It took days for their service person to come to our area, and many more days later to diagnose and repair the issue - the cooling fan overheats and stops working.
A few months later, the same problem happens again, and the same procedure occurs.
It was fine until Summer 2018, where the same thing happens yet again! This time, the fridge was out of warranty, so we opted to exchange it (we paid, too).
This review is being written because, as of January 2019, I've run into the exact problem with this new fridge. However this time, it's out of warranty (2 years since original purchase date), and we're paying for their mistake.
It goes like this: the fridge fan begins getting louder, ice no longer produces, and the whole thing just stops cooling. The freezer is OK; just the refrigerator portion stops. It seems there is a threshold for how much this refrigerator can store, and cool food. If there's too much, the fan will overwork itself.
I'm very disappointed, considering the amount of money I've spent on this unit. Countless amounts of food were spoiled. I bought a second (much cheaper, more reliable too) fridge to manage my food when this fridge is down for repairs. A fridge that costs this much should not give ANYONE this much headache. Props to my second, cheaper refrigerator for doing what this refrigerator should have been doing.
